- What is your Motivation
- I consider myself an advocate of quality. Atleast, I derived that drive from Steve Jobs and my biological father. I believe money shouldn't be the drive. Integrity should.
- What is your goal?
- Truth be told, my passion is product design and a socio-tech based system or mentality. Firstly, product design has the user as the focal point. In the past, developers only built things for other developers, but now. The users aren't technologically oriented. So I find it intriguing when a non-technical person can use a new product thin and through with a user guide. Secondly, i'm socio-technology based, meaning people should always be the essence of our innovation. If we aren't affecting lives, then we have gotten it wrong.
- Where do you derive inspiration?
- I am driven by everyday events. I cannot say I have a fixed focus on an inspiration. I could be inspired by just walking around, or talking with people. Several forms, it just depends on the mood i'm in.
- What tools do you love to use the most?
- For design I began with photoshop and a little coreldraw some many years back. Right now, Figma, invision, illustrator, balsamiq, justinmind, protopie etc. But often than not, I find myself going from figma to invision to illustrator and back.
- Who are your mentors
- Ohh! that's a tough one, I'm inspired by good design. So I could be reading or surfing through the internet and i'm attracted by something. If I discover that the person to whom credit is due is consistent, I would choose to learn from him or her. In essence, I am inspired by a lot of people. But my often visits are to Dieter Rams.
